Publish and export a map

Publish a map, choose who can open it and take a copy out.

Publish a map#

If you own the map, open More in its toolbar and choose Share this map…. Press Create a share link, then Copy it. Nothing can be read until you create the link.

Whoever opens a published map can only read it. Delete this link closes the map at once for everyone holding it; the people you added under People keep their access.

Choose who can open it#

The dialog asks "Who can open it" before it makes the link, so you can narrow the audience first.

  • Anyone with the link. No account needed. Unlisted, not private: anyone the link reaches can read the map.
  • Only invited people. The link still has to be held, and whoever opens it must be signed in to

Corlecti with an address you invited. Manage that list under People in the toolbar, the same list that decides who may edit the map (people and roles).

A link only ever lets people read. To let someone edit, invite them with the role Can edit.

Export a map#

Open More ▸ Export. The menu says what it covers, the whole map or the blocks you have selected.

  • Copy as Markdown puts the text on your clipboard.
  • Markdown, PDF and PowerPoint save a file (.md, .pdf, .pptx).

Markdown keeps a picture as a link; PDF and PowerPoint draw the pictures that stand alone on a line, yours and those from other sites; any other picture, and one that cannot be fetched, stays its caption. If you can edit the map and it shows pictures from other sites, the menu first asks whether to Save into map… or Export as is. Export is included on every plan.

In Telegram, /export sends the map into your chat as a Markdown file and /pdf as a PDF, with the pictures you uploaded; a picture from another site stays its caption. /pdf is made in the chat only for a map of up to 70 blocks and draws the first 6 pictures; a larger map is refused with a pointer to exporting from the map itself (the commands).

Keep a copy as a .mmap file#

A .mmap file holds the whole map, every block and link, as open JSON that anything able to read JSON can open. It is the copy to keep when you want the map itself rather than a document to read; the .mmap format describes it.

The Export menu has no .mmap row. A signed-in browser takes the copy over the API; an assistant that reads your map over MCP takes the same document. It works for the map's owner and its editors, on every plan; a person opened to one branch gets that branch.
